Ruh roh.

Ruh-roh Raggy.  It's 9:30 pm and I haven't written an entry for today.  I'm not maintaining the pace I had in November.  I had hoped to have more entries in the backlog than I currently do.  Two and a half months ago it is seven days before Midnight Ramblings gets the full Monty reboot and returns to starts a regular schedule.  This post will make forty-six entries ready to release.  Well, forty-six entries that have been released.  (Still Timey-wimey and wibbly wobbly).   If this is the last one it's been fun.  It's probably not though.  Is anyone still reading this nonsense?  Is everyone out of the betting pool yet?

I blame the lack of content on CNN and me.  When political talking heads show up and begin spewing their particular party line demagoguery I have to attempt to stifle a strong urge to hurl something heavy at the TV all the while yelling obscenities at the idiot, pandering, suck-ups.  It ain't good for my blood pressure.  The only thing that will make me mute CNN faster can be described with one name; Nancy Grace, her hype, rabid persona, and sensationalism will cause me to reach for the remote the instant she comes on air.  Find the woman a role off camera, she has no business in front of one.

To be fair though, it's a quiet time here in the wastelands.  Boring, sleepy, lazy and quiet.  I fully expect things to heat up again soon.  The calm before the storm.   At least it's a figurative winter storm and not a literal one, yet.  Touch wood (good thing I'm not superstitious).

Big white dog, (it's still Elvis) was a chum this morning, he was perfectly satisfied to sleep and let me sleep as well.  Thanks bud, I appreciate it.

I've got a lot to do, just not enough motivation to do them ALL right now.  Probably more of those depression issues.

The fecal matter hits the fan in the next Serenity game.  The plot points are in place.  We should resolve this mini-campaign by early May.  I'll take a little time off before restarting my Wardens of the Realm campaign.  I need to get creative and transcribe the remainder of the game notes into a semi-legible and hopefully entertaining narrative.  I've kinda fallen behind on them.  Whoda thunk it, right?   Getting the narrative done should give me an idea on where the story should go, which loose ends I need to trim and which ones I need to pull to tell the best story.

Well, if this was the last one, thanks for sticking around.

If this isn't the last one, thanks for staying around.

See you tomorrow.
