End of the world?

I've been rather lax in my self-imposed blogging deadlines as of late ummmm, always.  In the attempt to get back into the swing of things I write this bit of drivel. 

As I sit here, it is four days before the Mayan Apocalypse and five before the Zombie Invasion of 2012.  This crappy-assed attempt at a blog entry is scheduled to go live at midnight on January first, hence the name...Midnight Ramblings.  If no one sees it, perhaps either the Mayans or the Zombies actually seized the field and won the day.  

 More likely, no one sees it...

If however, you've survived both apocalyptic catastrophes and the drunken revelry/debauchery that New Year's Eve celebrations  traditionally bring I have but one wish for you;

"May your year ahead, be better than the Year passing."

I guess we shall see how successfully I am able to maintain a regularly scheduled blog post.  Either that, or I've succumbed to the same fate as the rest of the world.   Remember, severe head trauma is the only sure-fire way to stop Zombies... mmmmbrainzzzzzzzzz.

Maybe I should change the name of the blog to "Meh.  Whenever Chip gets around to it..."
