It's been a good day.

Saturday night in the wastelands. 

I didn't get enough sleep, normal.  The big, white dog (It's still Elvis) wasn't an ass last night.  The weather isn't bad, temperatures mild and springlike, it's still winter and it still sucks, but at least it's not WINTRY!  All in all it's been a good day.

Mark your calendars, Today, well for me anyway, was a two sports thingy sports watching day.   For the 14th year in a row the Navy Midshipmen of Annapolis have defeated their arch rivals, the Army Black Knight Cadets from West Point.  Navy leads the series, 60–49–7.  Go Navy, Beat Army; again.  It was a good game, most of them are, played the way football should be played. The young men on either side of the field with a prior commitment have little chance of becoming overpaid prima donna professionals sportsball players.  Here's hoping they stay safe in the next part of the journeys.

Today's second sportsthingy was, you've guessed it, frozen-rubber-disk sportsthing.  The down, up-down, down-up St. Louis Blues are up again, tonight anyway.  They shutout the Stars 3-0.  Allen was perfect in net, hence the shutout. and the Blues Captain got everyone fired up, with a Goal, an assist, and a fight;  The Gordie Howe Hat trick.  I know.  You still don't give a f... care.

I didn't run the Serenity game last week, we had a scheduling conflict, (again, due to shuffling the posting order around, this is not the same one I mentioned yesterday).  Not that I'm terribly disappointed as it gave me more recharge time on my precious introverted energy.    If you are a regular reader you'll know that I've mentioned trying to find that ever so elusive 'voice' for Midnight Ramblings.  I'm starting to wonder, is this it?
