Winter is coming.

It finally happened, damn the bad luck.  The sound of the snowplows outside alerted me to the bad news.

I really would have been perfectly happy to have avoided this until December 1st, ... 2112...  It's not much, about an inch or so.  Not like the 22" we had a few years ago.  However, it was still too much.

Wot the hell is wrong with you people?  Snow means winter, winter means cold, cold means shitty weather, shitty weather means more snow.   Nothing personal and of course no offense intended, but if you are one of the insane who actually dig this stuff, you are nucking futs. 

Oh, I've heard the arguments, it's so pretty, quiet and peaceful, the air is so crisp, clean and refreshing, it's brisk and makes you feel alive, it kills the bugs.  Yada, yada, yada.  Don't care.  Winter. Still. Sucks. Period, full stop, period.  There is nothing you can say to change my mind.

The St. Louis Blues lost again last night. That makes made 5 in a row.  Too many penalties, including one that injured their own goalie.  In addition to the goalie getting knocked out they also lost two others to injury.  They've got another tough away game tonight and since I haven't seen anything about last night's injuries as of yet it could very well be a tougher game.  I know, old news and you still don't care.

I do see one small ray of sunshine hope on the horizon, you're only about 11 days away from the vernal equinox, it's nearly srping in your time zone.  Sad panda me, not here in the wastelands.

Perhaps with a wee bit of luck, touch wood, (fortunately, I'm not superstitious), winter in the wastelands is over and done with for this season.  Ain't countin' on it though.
